We are please to announce that Acting Administrator Frank Darling will speak at our NAMO Conference in Atlantic City, NJ
On August 5, 2015, President Obama nominated T.F. Scott Darling, III to be the Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Mr. Darling joined FMCSA in September 2012 upon his appointment by the President as Chief Counsel.
Mr. Darling joined FMCSA from the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), the public transit agency serving the greater Boston area, where he served as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Assistant General Counsel. He also served previously as the MBTA's Environmental and Land Use Counsel as well as its Privacy Administrator. Prior to joining the MBTA, Mr. Darling provided counsel to a number of public and private sector clients on transportation, land-use, housing, and environmental issues. Mr. Darling earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Clark University, a Master's degree in Public Policy from Tufts University, and a Juris Doctor's degree from Suffolk University.
